Weekend in the south of France

Here I am in the south of France in Marseille. The sun is shining and it feels like going back in time since the temperature is much higher than I’m used to in October. The sculpture on the top is Euthymenes (early sixth century BCE) who was a Greek explorer from Marseille.Marseille was formerly known as Massalia (from Greek: Μασσαλία) and is the 2nd most populous French city as well as the oldest city in France (Wikipedia).
