Kära läsare,
Idag såg jag en hund som var utelåst på en balkong i den här kylan. Det var ca 0 grader och den stackars gula Labradoren betedde sig nervöst och oroligt. Det var på andra våningen och ingången till huset hade en dörrkod som jag uppenbarligen inte hade. Så jag stod där och försökte få lite hjälp från människor som verkade leva i området utan framgång, en kvinna sa att de inte hade glömt hunden utanför så jag förstod att hon hade sett den där förut. Till slut så kom det en man som bodde i huset och var på väg att öppna dörren vid entrén han lovade mig att han skulle prata med dem om hunden. Jag stod där i ytterligare cirka fem minuter och slutligen öppnade de balkongdörren så den stackars hunden kunde komma in och jag hoppades att jag skulle få syn på personen för att påminna honom/henne om att detta är långt ifrån ok men han/hon gömde sig bakom en gardin. Vart tog respekten vägen? Fy säger jag bara. Gula Labradorer är förresten en av mina favoritraser men det hör ju inte till historien såklart.

Today I saw a dog that was kept out on a balcony in this cold. It was about 0 degrees and the poor yellow Labrador was acting nervously and restlessly. It was on the second floor and the entrance to the house had a door code that I obviously didn’t have. Well I stood there and tried to get some help from people who seemed to live in the neighbourhood without any luck, one woman said that they hadn’t forgotten the dog outside so I understood that she had seen this before. Finally one man finally that was living in the building was about to open the door by the entrance I promised me he’d tell them about the dog. I stood there for about five minutes more and finally they opened the balcony door so the poor dog could get in and I hoped that I would spot the person to remind them that this is by far not ok but he/she was hiding behind a curtain. Where is the respect? This is so bad. Yellow Labradors are by the way one of my favorite type of dogs but this has of course nothing to do with this story.
