The two have become friends. It took about one week for them to adjust to the new situation. Watson (on the left) was very submissive and adjustable to Sherlocks fear of loosing his territory in the beginning. Sherlock was very stressed to have someone new who was to share his every day life with. I can imagine how Sherlock was feeling in the beginning, he was full of mixed feelings, partially good since he had someone to play with and partially bad since his territory was threatened. Time smooths things and now they are very much enjoying the company of each other. Sherlock is a bit rough on the edges while Watsons playful and confident personality helps to cool things down. I guess it was good for Sherlock to meet someone who wasn’t threatened by his shell. This just proves for me that calmness and warmth is a winning concept.
